What we collect when you shop with us, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

PyroEdition is an online jewelry store selling necklaces, bracelets and rings across Egypt. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Order details: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and the items you order.
  • Account details (optional): if you create an account, your name, email address and a password. Passwords are stored in a protected (hashed) form that nobody, including us, can read.
  • Payment details: card and mobile wallet payments are handled by our payment provider, Kashier. We never see or store your card number. With cash on delivery, no payment details are collected.
  • Messages: anything you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram or by email.
  • Technical information: basic server logs, such as error reports, that help us keep the website working, and anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, referring website, device type and country).

How we use it

  • To process, confirm and deliver your order, including calling or messaging you to confirm it.
  • To take payment and handle returns, exchanges and refunds.
  • To answer your questions and give you support.
  • To keep the website secure and prevent fraud.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share what is needed with:

  • Delivery companies, who receive your name, phone number and address to bring your order.
  • Kashier, to process card and mobile wallet payments.
  • The hosting and technical providers that run this website, under confidentiality.
  • Authorities, when the law requires us to.

Cookies and storage on your device

We only use cookies that the store needs to work: one keeps your bag, one keeps you signed in, and one remembers an order you just placed so you can save it to an account. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

To understand which pages are popular, we count visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that we run on our own server. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address, and does not identify you personally.

Your wishlist, recent searches and color theme are saved in your own browser. If you tick "Remember my details on this device" at checkout, your contact details and address are also kept in your browser only, and you can untick it at any time to remove them.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to deliver your order, handle returns and meet legal and accounting requirements. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete your account.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, unless we must keep it by law. Send your request through any of the contact details below.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords are stored hashed, and access to order information is limited to the people who need it to serve you.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version.
